Conflict Resolution Skills

Do you have a hard time getting along with a roommate, a neighbour, a classmate? Are you searching for a way to solve a conflict with a friend or a family member?  Conflicts are a normal part of life but how we deal with them has an impact on our wellbeing and our relationships. Conflicts that are ignored or managed ineffectively may escalate and cause stress and resentment. The conflict resolution workshop will help you better understand conflicts and the communication workshop will help you practice skills to resolve them.

Objectives of the workshop: In this workshop participants will:

-Identify different types of conflict;

-Become more aware of their individual and cultural conflict resolution style;

-Recognize the signs of conflict escalation;

-Practice effective communication skills to resolve conflicts (this aspect will be seen during the communication workshop).
